I felt in very safe hands when I was treated by Nick. He was open and explained the process clearly. Nick was available to answer questions during my recovery and went out of his way to make himself available. The staff at the Spire were also very kind and looked after me well.

From the initial consultation, to the day of the procedure and the final check up I always felt I had made the right choice with Mr Nicholas Stylianides as my surgeon. He took time initially not only to explain the diagnosis and what needed to be done but also to listen to any questions or concerns. On the day of the operation his calm manner when he came to see me and explain what was going to happen on the day helped provide the reassurance I needed and made the day very relaxing. This was my first experience of surgery and feel very fortunate that it was in a Spire Hospital with Mr Stylianides, it has set a high benchmark for any operation I may have in the future.

What can I say, he is a lovely man. He listened to me with my endless questions and was always so patient and calm, I felt totally reassured he was the right person for the job. He has a fantastic secretary named Emma, who is a lovely girl and went out of her way to arrange everything for me. I'm very grateful to them both for their kindness.

I cannot recommend Mr Stylianides enough. I feel very lucky that I am receiving the best care following my bowel cancer diagnosis. He has gone above and beyond to ensure I was operated on within the space of 10 days from my initial consultation with him. Post operation I received daily visits until I was discharged and phone calls at home. Mr Stylianides has explained everything thoroughly and answered any questions and concerns we had. I know I am in safe hands.

Cool, calm, efficient and professional, what more could you ask in a surgeon? If you have to have a medical procedure then why not have it in a clean modern environment where you feel totally comfortable. Particularly reassuring at the moment to have all the covid precautions taken so seriously. My next procedure will definitely take place under the care of Mr. Stylianides (If he'll have me!)
